The FA Guide for Parents & Carers
19 Jun 2011

I am sure you have all seen the aggressive parent or carer stood on the touchline yelling at their child, yelling at the Referee and trying to do the coaches job !!

It is a fact that young children just want to enjoy football and need encouragment, praise and positive support. If they are criticised and yelled at they become embarrased and intimidated. The end result will be that they give up the game!!

This FA Guide for Parents and Carers highlights the issues mentioned above and provides real examples of appropriate and inappropriate behaviour from Parents and Carers. Video clips from well known personalities in Football such as Trevor Brooking, Stuart Pearce, Howard Webb and Robbie Earle are used to emphasise points.

The Guide takes about 15 minutes to watch and complete and at the end you can print off an FA Certificate to verify that you have completed the Guide. The Guide can be found via the following link:

( You can also find this link on our 'Useful Links' page)

We hope you find this Guide informative and enlightening !!!

From their just select your Online supplier and place your order as normal.  It's as easy as that for us to receive a Cashback bonus into our Club's funds !!  Every purchase that is made by going through the Club website can earn between 1.5% and 4% Cashback for the Club on average.

There are thousands of suppliers in this scheme and I would be very surprised if you can't find the supplier and product you want.
